Tips to Expedite Your Number Transfer

Here are 3 tips that can help you avoid common pitfalls and make the transfer of your toll free number as smooth as possible:

1. Make sure you don't have an outstanding balance with your current carrier. Any unpaid invoices, even if under dispute, are grounds for the current carrier to reject the transfer request.
2. Make sure the information you provide on your transfer form is identical to what the current carrier has on file. If any piece information that doesn't match, this is grounds for the current carrier to reject the transfer request causing us to start over with a new, accurate form.
3. Do NOT cancel your service with the number's current carrier until confirmed your toll free number has been successfully transferred and is working. If you cancel the number before the transfer goes through, this is grounds for the current carrier to reject the transfer request indefinitely.
